THE BAROQUE SOCIETY
THE BAROQUE SOCIETY
Your petite baroque band & musical treasure hunter
TBS = The Baroque Society
“What if there was a whole world of music that we didn’t yet know? Music for dreaming, music for connecting with each other - from one human to the other”
TBS highlights hidden musical treasures and works by female baroque composers alongside well known baroque classics. The band embraces a fresh approach to historically informed performance practice - sparkling virtuosity, playful improvisation and daring musical concepts. Together with our audience we want to find home to the music - poetry for heart and mind.
Our core:

We acknowledge our mother earth and the impact we have on her. Therefore we’ve decided to buy(!) 20m2 of forest for every concert we play. The forest is bought together with Den Danske Naturfond (The Danish Nature Fund) and will be safely protected (forever, actually!). We hope to make a little difference for biodiversity, water protection and our future.
We’ve happy to have saved 220m2 of forest in 2024.
