SANS FRAYEUR // Without fear
The Baroque Society presents an all-French salon - a tribute to the strong women of the Baroque. Poetic (and completely unknown!) love songs by Helene-Louise Demars and Mademoiselle Menetou are woven into masterpieces by Rameau and Mondonville. A very special sound universe with music for the soul and the deepest longings.
The Baroque Society is Copenhagen's new baroque band. A charismatic ensemble that brings together some of the region's leading musicians. Together, they combine the virtuosity and elegance of baroque music with improvisation and visionary programming. Because what if some of the most beautiful music there is has yet to be discovered?

NATALE // Christmas special
We head south - to the snowy French Alps and Muffat's magical universe - and all the way to Rome and the pastoral sounds of Corelli. Deep within the labyrinths of Venice, we are captured by Tomaso Albinoni's Sinfonie a cinque - music that warms the heart and soul. We end our Advent journey in Naples with the masterful Alessandro Scarlatti. The chances are high that we will slip past Nürnberg and Pachelbel on the way back - but stop! - we don't play the canon you already know - we have new treasures in stock... Do you dare? We look forward to it! And promises lots of southern Christmas atmosphere, of course.

Fearless and powerful: musical lecture on baroque women - with cultural manager Trine Heide and musician Yngvild Haaland Ruud.
The gondola singer, the child prodigy, the queen of Venice, the nuns of Novara, the unknown, the orphanage child, the forgotten, the murdered, the longing, the pseudonymous, the extraordinary... The stories about the musical women of the Renaissance and Baroque are many and colorful... and completely unknown. How did they find their way to music in a world dominated by men? And why is it only now that we are beginning to open our eyes to their very special music?
This lecture takes a modern look at the colorful and touching stories of women who defied all odds. Experience the stories of Novara's nuns, the murdered, the longing and the forgotten through a unique interplay of music and narrative.
